This was written by our Year 4 and 5 students to give other young people an idea of what Bardic Drama School is like.

"Bardic Drama School is a place where children learn and have fun at the same time. We do plays and films and we get to decide our own lines and the character we want to be and what happens in it. Being on the big screen is always fun. Normally when I'm writing things or doing things it's hard to use my imagination to advantage but at Bardic I can let my imagination run wild."

"At drama we always have really fun activities to do. You can learn how to be a good actor or director and you can learn things that can help you like if you are looking to be a lawyer it can help with your voice and if you're shy it can help you speak out."

"Bardic Drama School is an imaginative and creative place where children open their minds wide open and have fun doing drama. You have lots of fun, the teachers are really nice and you make lots of friends. You get to be different characters every time you make another play or film. If you were in the middle of a test you could use one of the concentration exercises to help you but if you were writing a narrative your experience at Bardic will give you more creative ideas and you might get a better mark."

"The teachers are really nice and you can make friends really well. It is great for the future so kids have a bigger imagination. Being at Bardic Drama School gives you a big advantage in life because you get a lot of practice if you want to be an actor or director."
